Holier-than-thou by WhistlingWolf13 Holier-than-thou by WhistlingWolf13
I made this clay sculpture for a project during my first year of college, and recently found this picture again. I'd almost forgotten about it. Just felt like sharing, because I'm rather happy with how it turned out. Especially considering it was my first time making a sculpture like this since I was just a kid and we did things like this in school. :)

The project said we had to make an expressive sculpture; a character that was actually saying something with body language and facial expression. I had so much fun making this~! :D A shame we only had a few creative projects like this...

Art work is mine, do not use without my permission.

Good pose and a very fitting facial Expression that really suits the title :huggle: I also noticed that the angle of the picture also suits the character, like he thinks he's above everyone else. Good job honey, this must have been a very fun project :D :huggle:

Thank you, sugar~! :D Our project was to make either a priest, a nun or a monk and make them expressive. I chose to make an old-fashioned priest, of the kind that blabbers on in Latin and believe that the common folk is exeptionally sinful and that his role in life is to make them painfully aware of the fact. He, of course, sits on his mighty "throne" to get as high and close to God as he can, stepping on others in the process. Not saying all priests were like that, this is an example of the rotten type. Either way, it was very fun indeed~ :D :huggle::heart::heart: And yes, I did work with the angle in this picture, and also the setting with how he is alone with only the heavens above him. ^^
