Moving on... by WhistlingWolf13 Moving on... by WhistlingWolf13
... Because sometimes, you just need to say what you have to say and get on with your life.

Do not use without my permission.

(Oh, and by the way, I'm not the one who vandalised that poor bench. Honest.)

Where did you take this picture? XD "Screw you." How immature of those rascals.

Actually, I took it in Sweden ages ago. Only recently did I find it again and notice the words on it. Yes, it could be immature. But I still found it interesting, thinking about how there might be a story behind those simple, immature words. :meow:

There has to be a story behind everything. Maybe when I go to Sweden I can find the exact same bench XD I wonder who the writer was mad at?

Haha, it'll be like searching for a needle in a haystack ^^
Only the writer would know that, I suppose :)

Maybe it goes like this. (sorry for late reply)

A guy was really upset because he was bullied by this horrible guy at his school. He often saw this guy sitting on the bench. One day, he saw the bully sitting there once more. After the bully left, he let himself out of hiding and sat on the bench, on which he often sat on as well. Feeling the hate, he etched in "Screw you" and left it there for others to see. I don't know. Some random interpretation. But you never know. Maybe that actually happened or some people did it for the heck of it, as with so much of the graffiti out there nowadays.

That's an interesting interpretation :) Personally I like to think there's a love story behind this. A person falls in love, gets their heart broken, and takes it out on a random bench, feeling better afterwards and being able to move on, haha ^^ It's interesting with stuff like this, because you can sort of ad your own story to it. :)

I like adding my own interpretations to pretty much anything that happens, since perspective is so important to each and every person and their view on things. You can think of all things in the world as perspective. One may view it as one thing while another person views it as something else... But poor bench, it used to be alive. I wonder why the heartbroken person wanted to take it out on the bench of all things, and not the heart-breaker... haha. :D

Yes, I agree, it's all about perspective. One person's joy is another person's sorrow, in a way.

Sometimes it's easier to take things out on something that has nothing to do with the matter, rather than directing the hurt or anger towards the person responsible.
